How long does my child need to stay in a child seat?

The law requires that children up to a height of at least 135 cm or up to 12 years of age have to travel in a child seat. One of the two criteria must be met before you can leave the child seat at home. However, we recommend the height of 135 cm as the better criteria to follow as it guarantees the correct routing of the vehicle's three point belt.
